Qualifying Requirements for a Salesperson's Real Estate license in Georgia an applicant must:
♦ Be at least 18 years old
♦ Be a resident of Georgia, unless seeking a nonresident license
♦ Be a high school graduate or holder of a certification of equivalency
♦ Complete a 75-hour Salesperson Pre-license course (such as this course) offered by an approved school and complete the school in-house exam
♦ Pass the state real estate examination
♦ Obtain a copy of your Georgia Crime Information Report
♦ Licensure if granted by the Georgia Real Estate Commission

Strategies for A Successful Real Estate Career
25 Hour Postlicense Course Required within the first year: Evenings/Saturdays
Twenty-five (25) hours Real Estate Postlicense credit OR
Twenty-four (24) hours Real Estate Continuing Education credit
Additional Information
Salespersons must take a 25-hour postlicense course in their first year of licensure. All licensees must complete this education requirement whether they are on active or inactive status, resident or nonresident status. The course shall conclude with a proctored exam administered by an approved school such as the Real Estate School of West Georgia.
